Bill Nye's most famous TV installment is Bill Nye the Science Guy (1993-1998) which aired on CBS. This was what made Bill famous and made his voice heard. His show covered topics ranging from the weather, volcanoes, atoms and space. Bill Nye the Science guy has been, and is currently, a teaching tool used in many schools across the world. During the debate, Ham fought for creationist ideas while Nye cited many scientific fields to prove how mankind and the earth were created. The two have met many times since to debate the topic. More recently in the summer of 2016, Ham and Nye met at new Ark Encounter theme park to debate if the biblical ark story is legitimate.
